Interested in Becoming Catholic?

While the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the normal path to becoming Catholic for adults who have never been baptized or who were baptized in a non-Catholic Christian church, these are not normal times.

Due to the pandemic people are understandably reluctant to make the commitment of time and energy that typically characterize RCIA inquirers. Accordingly, during the 2020-21 year St. Ann’s will not be offering our standard weekly group sessions for those considering joining the Catholic faith community. However, if you or someone you know wants to learn more about the Catholic faith with the possibility of becoming Catholic at the Easter Vigil service on April 3, 2021, we encourage you to contact Deacon Bill Donovan (deacondonovan@stann.org) or Amy Strickland (stannreled@gmail.com). We are ready to help prepare you for the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist). Instruction will take place remotely. Deacon Bill and Amy are happy to discuss particular needs with interested individuals.
