Prepare Bagged Meals for the Homeless

Activity: Prepare bagged meals for the homeless in support of Arlington Street Peoples Assistance Network (A-SPAN). Meals are prepared from 4:45pm to about 5:30pm.

Volunteers: 12 and up, Families with supervised children 6 or older welcome

Time Commitment: Third Tuesday of the month, Parish Hall; come one time or regularly.

Serve Prepare Bagged Meals for the Homeless

Activity: Deliver the above bagged meals to the homeless at Oakland Park, Arlington, or at nearby St. George’s church. Return leftovers to A-SPAN shelter in Courthouse area. Delivery: 5:30-7:00pm, starting right after meals are prepared

Volunteers: Adults, or youth over 16, are welcome.

Time Commitment: Two to three times per year.

Serve the Evening Meal at the A-SPAN Shelter

DSC02613Activity: Help setup the serving area, including making and setting out drinks, condiments, napkins, and utensils; serve dinner to clients from 5:30 pm to 7:00pm; set aside and store leftovers, and do light cleanup of the serving area.

Volunteers: Adults, or youth over 18, are welcome.

Time Commitment: Fourth Tuesday of the month, A-SPAN Shelter, 2020A 14th St. North, Arlington (Courthouse area, across from Police Station). One time or regularly. Sign up via Signup Genius
